"Mistake":
Princess Cruise Lines which
runs cruises from Haifa to Alexandria and
other destinations has been distributing a
brochure showing maps of the Middle East
which omit Israel and show Jordan with a
coastline! (see above) When presented with
protests over this, Princess claims it was a mistake.
A corrected version
is available online, but Princess has yet to
show that this version is the one being
distributed. Until they do so, Join the

LA Times Fatigue:
In an editorial entitled
"Settlement Fatigue"
(11/11/10, p. 30) the LA Times sums up its 35
years of tiresome PLO propaganda and calls settlements,
i.e. towns and villages with Jewish
residents, "an obstacle to peace".
For an entire generation this fast-declining
and widely despised newspaper has been
poluting Southern California with its racist
'Jews out of Judea' fanaticism. They portray
Israel as the aggressor and Jews as the
interlopers and refer to the Jewish homeland
of Judea and Samaria as "occupied
territories" (how can
you be an "occupier" of your own
homeland?). They whitewah the worst PLO
atrocities calling terrorists
"militants" and Israeli retaliation
"assassinations". They claim that
"most of the world agrees that the
settlements are illegal" but can offer
no authority for that statement. There is
none. They follow a propaganda philosophy
reminiscent of the Nazis, that if you repeat
a lie often enough, people will eventually
believe it. Judea and Samaria are Jewish sovereign
territory. The LA Times is
an "obstacle to peace".

Another Push for Pollard's
Release - Will it Work?
Another push is under way
for the release of
Jonathan Pollard
now in his 25th year of incarceration for a
crime he should have served just 2 years. The
LA Times weighs in against his release in a heartless
editorial which mentions
the disproportionality argument but, as
usual, fails to analyze it. A comparison of
Pollard's sentence with those of other
convicted spies, who compromised US security
to a far greater degree, would compel
Pollard's immediate release. This injustice
