Whole Foods Wavers on
Withdrawing Support for KPFK:

|
They
claim to be "pacifists",
but KPFK's anti-Israel extremists are
waging an aggressive propaganda war
against Israel with their "Radio
Intifada"
show. After receiving a wave of
letters of protest, Gelson's and then
Trader Joe's quickly removed their
names from the list of
KPFK supporters
who donated food to volunteers in
KPFK's fund drive. In contrast, Whole
Foods remained on the list for
several weeks, but now claims to have
removed its name. However, its name
still appears on this
KPFK page
(scroll to bottom). Whole Foods has
also reserved
the option
to support KPFK in the future.
Friends of Israel who shop there run
the real risk that a part of their
purchases will be used to support the
anti-Israel and anti-semitic KPFK. To
comment to Whole Foods, write to CEO
John P. Mackey at john.mackey@wholefoods.com,
VP A.C. Gallo at ac.gallo@wholefoods.com,

Overcomes Yahoo Censorship:
|
On April 10
Yahoo took Join
the Boycott
offline without notice and without
explanation. see WMD
In so doing, Yahoo engaged in censorship.
Yahoo joins AOL and Lycos among those
attempting to silence Join
the Boycott's
message of support for Israel. Like AOL and
Lycos, Yahoo failed.
Join
the Boycott
and our many friends protested, demanding
Yahoo respect our Constitutional Right to
Freedom of Speech, and put our site back
online. Our pleas were met with abusive Yahoo
form responses. see example 1,
2
Our protests intensified to the point of
involving media and politicians, until on May
15, Yahoo put Join
the Boycott
back online.
We will not
tolerate censorship and the denial of our
Freedom of Speech. Any further interruption
of our Geocities web service will be met with
a full scale boycott of Yahoo.
Join
the Boycott
thanks every one of our friends who protested
to Yahoo on our behalf. Without your help we
would not be here. see example
Join
the Boycott
is also grateful to everyone who has
contributed to this website over the years
and who has helped us with the many protests
we have successfully concluded. You are what Join
the Boycott
is - a powerful voice of protest and support
for Israel. Thank you all. |
